Been on "private" insurance for ever, Obama care (LOL) was always 3-4x what it is on the open market.
We pay UNDER $500 per month. I'm 61, wife 60.
People are too lazy to shop around, expect the gov to provide everything, I have zero sympathy.

What company are you with?

The Health Care industry in this company was broke long before 2008 and the ACA the Dems had a majority and the Whitehouse so they passed something, the other side did nothing to add to the conversation IMO, then they proceded to vote 50+ times to repeal it rather then sit down and fix some of the problems with it that both sides knew were there. Magically when they recaptured the Whitehouse the votes to repeal ended, all along when asked what they would replace it with all one heard was crickets. At least with the ACA denial for pre-exsisting conditions has been eliminated, peoples health insurance is not like a boken windshield, many cannot help their health issues and a family should not go bankrupt paying the healthcare monster in order to stay alive. It should not cost 20-30,000 a year for a family to buy health insurance with 10-15,000 deductible.
