I'm old and retired so I have the time to sit at my computer and watch deliveries to my neighbor. Both UPS and FedEx will pull in, sit there a few minutes, and if someone doesn't come out and get the package, they leave. All the time, the 2 big dogs are running around the truck. They have been known to bite - they have gotten 2 of the neighbors already. Oh, and the neighbor has "Beware of the Dog" signs at the end of the driveway.
I know all about the people who has dogs that are very dangerous to people and they would just laugh when they attack someone. Then they put up
signs beware of dogs , when someone finally complain.
The delivery people have a tough job alone just driving down every road in the country and dealing with them. Then they get to a house to be confronted with mean dog's or
someone comes out yelling because their parcel's was stuck somewhere at a warehouse and not delivered to them on time. In all these years we have no complaint with the companies that deliver stuff to our place.
as we keep our driveway and walkway cleaned and ice free as much as possible and no animals out running around to bite them.
I really like the ones that will send a picture of the parcel after they deliver it , where they sat it and the time also. Even had them drop a really small parcel off in the mailbox and we get a picture of the mailbox.
