At about year 15...........40 years ago.......he said "I do tractors, I don't shop. If you want something, go buy it and pretend it's from me for Christmas". This year "he" got me a chute and a scraper attachment for my KitchenAid mixer. I'm happy, he's happy....(((I don't think he knows it's here))) .... so all is good. Maybe I was raised wrong, but I don't think I'm ever gonna understand people who gripe about a Christmas (or birthday, or Mother's Day, or whatever....gift) Good grief people, it's a freakin' GIFT. Somebody thought of you and thought "maybe they'd like this". Do you know how many people don't have someone in their lives to even think of them?? Let's try a little bit of gratitude, humility, self-effacement... just for a while.
