I like making money, not spending it on results that don't help my bottom line.

Increasing fungal numbers in the soil increases the fertility levels in your soil. They will free up the tied up nutrients on the soil amd get them into the plants. I have tissue samples that show that and also sap samples that show it too, for those of you who prefer that over tissues, I work with a lot of growers that have a hard time getting sufficient nutrient levels in the plant. We can fix that. We see it all of the time. I will attach a tissue test. I am currently on the road to Oregon so I don't have access to .my other data, just what I have pictures of. Back to the fungal increase, good fungal in your soil helps to suppress weeds, improve the plants natural defense by increasing the plants brix which also helps to deter insects as well. So if you increase biology and get the fungal/bacterial level closer to 50/50, you can decrease your fertilizer costs because your soil test results will improve, you can kill weeds easier so you can use lower rates of herbicide and still be efficient in killing weeds. Guys that have their biology built good, don't have to use fungicides or insecticides because the plants are doing the work naturally. There are guys on this site that will back that up if they see this. Another benefit to building soil biology is your residue will break down a lot quicker too. Like I said earlier, if you are just measuring a biological by just yield, you don't know how biologicals can truly work. You have to weigh in all of the benefits, not just yield. By the way, the trial from the test above and this tissue sample below netted me an 8 bushel increase. Just in case you were wondering. The real payback though is the increase in soil fungi.
