East of Broken Bow | Here, we are rural enough that FedEx and a couple other carriers deliver to the Post Office and have our Mailman deliver it to the door.
The 'attempted delivery' often means that they dropped it off at the Post Office without postage. Then the PO sends FedEx the bill for postage, and when it is finally paid, it will get deliverd.
The above was told to me by our mailman when I asked him why he was bringing me a FedEx box instead of FedEx.
Now, FedEx Ground, will deliver to my door, the driver is very good at getting things right to the front door, on time, and if I am around to grab the package, is always friendly and polite. | |
