You said you will listen to the advice of the man growing 200 bushel beans. To me that means you should be on your way to at least half that consistently. I don’t grow 70 bushel beans and I can’t stand growing them at all. I just support the kind of advice that can get a guy a profitable crop with minimal inputs so he can make a living. We waste too much time and money on these non essentials. This forum is suffering greatly. Not much meat and potatoes on here anymore.
This forum has been suffering a long time from closed minded crimudgeon.
Can you define a non essential.
We are not a high yield environment. I accept that. But I can take what guys like him do and learn. I can learn from a guy growing asparagus. There is always something to learn
You support advice that reduces input expense and increase profit. That's great, so do I.
I am the only one in this topic that cited my own example of changing my K management and saving $15 / acre to grow a better crop.
Spent money on biological system to mimic nature and it was less dollars than cheap retail fertilizer to get a better crop. Isn't that what you just said. Advice to find profit.
I have repeatedly said that we need to stop listening to others, do our own testing and find our profit.
So seems we agree. |
