Question, what streaming service did you watch the “ Farmer’s Daughter “ on ? I did a search and came up with it saying Netflix, a search there came up with nothing, my search also mentioned Amazon Prime ( not checked there yet ).

As far as using single axle straight trucks I could see that working for a farm that had a lot of on farm storage ( bins ) and could store all their crop and fields short haul from the bins. I know one guy that does that, he not big by today standards and hires someone to haul for him with a tractor trailer later. Only thing I would want a newer truck ( air brakes and diesel ), no hydraulic brakes truck I don’t think. I wonder how expensive it would be to shorten a used box truck ( with air brakes ) and put a 16 foot grain box on it or is there anyone that does that now ? I remember 30 years ago ( or maybe longer ago ) that being a thing shorten or lengthen truck frames on 2 ton trucks. Someone probably ran the numbers and that why you see so many single axle tractors and short single axle hopper trailers. My neighbor runs one of those.

It’s streaming on Tubi for free.
