Yes, regular hydraulic nodes will work to control MD, but MD specific nodes won't work to control hydraulic systems. You may need to update node software to make it work with the MD, but otherwise there shouldn't be anything special.
Are the harnesses that connect directly to the back of the node interchangeable between the hydraulic and MD too?
I see the harnesses have different part numbers, but do the harnesses ultimately have the same connections on all ends and are interchangeable?
