I worked at a place that was feeding 2500 milk cows and all the heifers. These Fritsch are tough. Keep a spare hyd motor (same one on each side), takes about 2 hours to swap one. Probably swapped a motor every 8-10 months, couple hyd hoses every year.
Chain drive ones never seem to last long, I would steer clear. There is a tremendous amount of force put on them way out on the end of a big loader, especially if the silage is packed well | |
