Just curious if you're only 1.5 miles to the co-op why not hook the gravity wagon to the truck and haul 530 bushels per trip.

I am also between 1 and 4 miles to the local CoOp (only one field is 4 miles away) Used wagons (700 bu for a pair) for ever and go by just fine, pay attention, use caution and you will be OK. Switched last year to a S/A semi with a 700 bu hopper.

The reason was time for me, since I work alone I can almost double what I can get done in a day. The cost is more, but it's worth it to me or justifiable due to the time saving and honestly a little less stress. I also gained some barn space after selling 2 of the wagons. I can get the truck in one spot in one barn and the trailer fits nicely in a lean to that is too small for other things. I kept a 450bu and a 300bu wagon, glad I did, the 300 gets used for seed beans anyway and the 450 is nice since I have a few fields that are small and next to a bigger field (different landlords) and can be pulled / usually not 100% loaded with my F350.
