I bought my boyfriend a DJI mini 3 for Christmas. I thought having a drone might help him check pens. We're pretty small time so it's just him, unless I'm trying to help. In all my research, I never read that there is a ban going into effect, until now. Should I just go ahead & exchange it? We're not exchanging gifts until after Christmas and I'm scared it won't operate when he opens it. He wouldn't buy something like this for himself. I realize it's not one of the fancy ones but it's more than what I would usually spend on a single gift especially since I also got the extra batteries for longer flight time. I just don't know what to do.
Can anyone advise please, before I run out of time? Thank you.
