SC | I had one of those machines with planetary drive and I had to take the brakes off sometimes due to dragging. Clean it and maybe shave the disc surface to create a little more clearance. I had some spare centerdrives and brakes to swap out when I had a problem. Could not run without brakes because it would roll out of alignment. Does not seem that those brakes would fail individually like you describe but maybe the weather affected them all. I sent my planetary machine to the scrap yard about 6 years ago and it was a happy day to see it go. All the good parts went to the auction yard or I would give them to you. | |
