Another thing one doesn’t realize with bins is the shrink. Ask any elevator manager. When I worked in an elevator in the 70s it seemed like soybeans always had the worse shrinkage. Also putting grain in storage isn’t just letting it sit there and see what it’s like when you start hauling it. Heard of some horror stories over the years.
