| By far, get a Berth. It would not be nice in the same seat, for two days. Like seating on a airplane .
When you get the berth or even a room, you will get to walk around and go up in the sky doom and get to see all around . Just go up and seat in the front of it and they like you not to sit up there all the time , so that every one can try it and see.
You even bet to have a hot shower on the berth cars.
Go on the VIA Rail site and take a look at the Toronto to Vancouver and the Vancouver to Toronto.
Then see the different stops and see if you would like for a little longer trip or not. Then get on their email list and they will send
you Email specials on Tuesday of each week and you can pick up a great deal then. The food is great and prepared on it (I think still is) but just ask before you book .
Never take there and back , as we met a couple when we went and they were very sad as its way to long .
