You talk about letting corn dry down but some sources say you can gain 3 bu in yield per point of moisture over dry corn, so 20-15% is an extra 15 bu/ac yield so may want to figure at least some of that in your calculation.

Personally I can not say the 3 bu yield increase per point is correct but I am certain yields increase at higher harvested moistures. We generally start at 23- 24% and that seems to be a decent compromise.
