I've worked through NE, KS, and S. IA and had a lot of success with fall applications. The challenge with winter is that weeds aren't actively growing, so it limits what you can use. One that is overlooked is Autumn Super, 0.3 oz seems to be easy to rotate to corn and soybeans. Metribuzin + 2,4D + Dicamba is great a very affordable option, but i think your broadleaves may be too dormant and success will be limited.

Autumn Super may even have some limited results, but if it works will knock back your spring annual grasses too and most broadleaves. You should get by with a 1 pass early post application with a group 15 and mesotrione. If you get some greening up with the weather I'd go for it. I think you'll be pleased.
