north central Ohio | I guess I thought no-till “made” nutrients and then it was cover crops, followed by foliares and now it is biologicals, and other day young fellow stopped and said I needed biochar at a cost of $850 per acre. I asked twice if I heard price right. Said it would make soil drain better. At that price I am putting in tile which I know will return a profit. Asking kid question about soil and pretty sure he never raised a crop in his life. Be interesting to see what gets pushed next. Moldboard plow? | |
