Subject: RE: 3 pass program in beans

SW Iowa
I would suggest reading through some university herbicide guides and paying attention to what rates well for giant ragweed. Group 15 (zidua, dual, harness) many here seem to be recommending are generally poor on large seeded broadleaves like GR, and authority isn't real great, either. Unless you believe your population is resistant, I'd be looking at programs containing firstrate, classic, and/or flexstar. All available as generic (cheap), can be sprayed post, and should have activity on emerged weeds as well as provide some degree of residual.

Maybe something like generic Authority First pre, enlist+classic 2nd pass, liberty+flexstar (or liberty + prefix if you want a late shot of group 15) 3rd? I'd let the enlist and liberty do the heavy lifting and not run max rates on classic/flexstar to minimize burn and carryover. Being farther north I'm guessing you may have different rate/timing label restrictions than here so make sure you pay attention to that and/or talk to someone local.
