qb runs fine on apple macs, at least the last desktop version before they went to cloud based. ms office for mac will give you word, excel, powerpoint all in the mac os world. after growing up with dos and windows machines, apple is like dieing and going to heaven, unless you enjoy hanging. no corrupt files, virus, lockup problems.
