That would be a cool experience, never thought of a winter ride. I took it from Edmonton to Toronto about a week after 9/11 happened. It was beautiful with the foliage around all the lakes in Ontario.
Remember a lot of Americans on the train trying to get closer to home as flights were still back logged.
