I sprayed Valor this fall as well. I'm not counting on it for waterhemp protection. You need your waterhemp protection June and July here. I think it is wasteful to spend money on pre's for waterhemp before the first of June. We've been selecting for later emerging waterhemp (because everyone's April and May applied pre's run out). Last year when I sprayed the first week of June the first waterhemp were just starting to poke out.
