Subject: MX210 ignition issue

N. IL
Our MX210 periodically doesn't fully initiate the start of the tractor. Here is what happens:

- Turn the key on, radio and cab pressurizing fan come on but no A-Post lights
- Tractor will turn over and start but immediately dies

We have been cycling the key switch several times until the A-Post is lit up and then start the tractor, fine all day.

This problem occurred several times last fall with a hired man operating, never tracked how often it occurred. We are now operating it and happens at least once a day. I am certain it will get worse like any other problem.

Is it a bad ignition switch or something else? These MX tractors are great until you have an electrical issue, dealer can spend hours$$$ chasing a problem that won't surface. We are running NH3 with the tractor now so it runs all day, but will switch to spraying soon and will be off and on more frequently.

We had an MX200 and another MX210 that have never had this issue. This tractor is a 2004 model with about 1500 hours.
