Dad always said that there are pockets of sandy soil types with significant sand beneath the prairie soils in that area. With all the rain in 2025, those looked great. In 2023, those same areas burnt up.

Edit: if it was heavy and black, I’ll bet you tack on 5G’s and don’t need a realtor.
