Remington, IN
I don't know exactly what the possibilities of an Ag Leader system is today, but I do know that on a Precision Planting "RowFlow" system, we CAN control the hydraulic drives automatically as 1/2 width dis-connects. That's one of the built in features of RowFlow from the very beginning, & just a menu pick. We have several running that way.
I would NOT try to run all 32 row off a single hydraulic drive. It seems like Kinze had a motor that could do that at one time & drove both sides through a jackshaft, but personally, I wouldn't. That's just asking for problems in my opinion, especially if it's using JD vac meters (or even eSet conversions) that are using the JD stiff lid seal that came out in about 2008. Those can almost double the drag/rolling torque of the meter. Simple answer is just "Don't", and use 2 normal hyd drive motors.
