After surgery make sure you wear wrist brace. It will be sore for a few days. You'll want to have extra bandages and vet wrap to be able to clean up if you do anything on the farm. I would have to change mine out everyday or more depending on what I was doing. I had to help milk barn when I did mine.

Make darn sure you wear wrist braces per docs orders during healing time. You don't want things to come lose in tunnel. Farmer context is a rope coming off a pulley. If that happens, doc has to go back in and try to reattach everything.

Total strength back will take a long time maybe a year. However we'll worth doing. Problem is everyone waits too long to do surgery. You risk more nerve damage by putting it off.
