West Central Indiana | To me it’s not about the traits. Others commenting on here could be comparing a 2.1 enlist to a 3.1 flex or the opposite. Trials/plots/etc.. should prove both can yield very well. Picking the right maturity/variety means more to me than herbicide tolerance.
My advice:Plant both in a side by side if there close in maturity and weigh them out. Or do a large test plot. You can spray Rup and Liberty on both traits post, so no problems dinging beans. Biggest boost in yield is hard for me to figure out but when I’m walking plots I look for lots of branching. These beans in the picture are a 3.5 Dairyland e3. Best field I cut in 25. They leaned some in this creek bottom field but lots of branching and huge bean size. Planted April17th-harvested Oct 1
