| Hi, new her.e I am a row crop and cattle farmer.
I grew up on a farm that my father started. he farmed just around 946 acres of corn and soybeans and had a cow/calf operation. Though he passed away back in apirl of 2024. i was living away from the farm before he passed but came back to run the farm. Though after my first full year farming, I'm having difficulty with the cost of everything.
I farm about 946 acres, not renting all that he owned.
i just having trouble figuring out my cost of production
I was hoping someone could help me calculate some numbers.
in 2026 ill have 521 acres of corn
425 acres of soybeans
