^ This is an answer based on facts that ACTUALLY  happened. Not the answer some were looking for but facts none the less. Everyone has their own opinion and how they interpret facts but "facts are facts"
Timing of Russias invasion had everything to do of fear of Ukraine joining NATO under Bidens "watch". Just like timing of the "China Flu" had everything to do with trade negotiations of "The Greatest Trade Deal" ever.
Just as Russia "could not/would not" attack a NATO protected country China "could not/would not" fulfill their end of the trade negotiation during a pandemic.
Timing is rarely "coincidental"..... especially in Politics
