West Central MN
It was all a boondoggle that doubled the price of an engine in a new piece of equipment, made it more expensive to maintain over it's now shorter life, causes it to burn more fuel, consumes precious metals in large quantities to be mined, refined, processed and transported, plus the whole DEF production and transportation energy and environmental impacts. Then during the regen process, magically the EPA doesn't care what NOx, CO, ash and other bad things are coming out the exhaust pipe over that period.

Sure, an enclosed building may have less soot, but to believe it was a net gain that made the world a better place is the debate. There's no such thing as a free lunch.
