Subject: RE: Preparing the heart for a heart attack

NW ILLINOIS
I have had 3 heart attacks. Each was about 12 years apart. All fixed
up with stenz. I have over the years (and thanks to John) have reduced my
carb / sugar intake. Still a work in progress.
I keep asking my heart doctors what I need to do to reduce or eliminate the
plaque build up. After all these years the story is still the same; exercise, veggey
diet, lose weight. I'm 30 lbs lighter that when I had my first attack and weigh in
at 180 in my birthday suit. Current doc says good weight for me.
The latest Dr did tell me that my body is growing blood veins around my heart to help
provide the needed blood the heart needs.
He also said that a regular daily exercise routine showed it helped grow these veins
verses people who did not exercise regularly. In addition some people do not generate
these extra veins.
I suspect some time in the future doctors will start to catch up with some of the latest
developments.
One place in Sweden does gene engineering and has had some success in treating other
diseases. Atherosclerosis is being one of their next projects. Very interesting.
At 78 I hope I make it thru the next 12 years. LOL
