Whitewater, WI | After reading the Mr Heater instructions I stand corrected. I did hvac for about 20 years, never installing a Mr Heater brand though. I've never seen a unit using the type 3 stainless through the wall, except in a few commercial jobs that it was spec'd. Mr Heater only says to use b-vent to vertically vent, but around here it's industry standard to use b-vent for both. I wonder if they have you use stainless because in some markets that is code and it simplifies the instructions. It really hoses you on the installation cost then too. Learn something new every day. | |
