How about a 12" x 60" or 72" 2" rebar 1/4 thick then reenforced back stop with a couple 3/4 bolts to hold it to the top of the skid loader bucket? That way you won't be married to it if you need a lower profile. Expanded metal would work as well for visibility if it ever does go on a skid.
