Not saying the big youtube stars portray the vast majority of ag in this country, but the Ma and Pa Ingalls way of life wasn't exactly keeping kids on the farm. And, at least for my area, the "golden age" of the post WWII ag that everyone thinks we need to go back to for diversity's sake wasn't exactly retaining a lot of farm kids either.
