West Central IA | If you want a truck that will last, get yourself a single axel like a Freightliner FL60 or FL70. Short wheelbase you can put a ball on and the full curve rear fenders and you will literally be able to pull anything. Get nthe auto transmission and a cummins or detroit engine, mount a flatbed and go for it. Neighbor has one and uses it like a super HD pickup. Pulls anhydrous tanks, gooseneck trailor moving equipment and sometime machinery. Then when he needs a pickup he has his little ranger to get him around. He has air ride on thye truck and he said he paid way less than 10 grand for it. Just had to add the flatbed and the brake controller. | |
