It depends upon your needs....yes, a Raspberry Pi can handle a lot of tasks, and the same with an Intel NUC (lower cost models).

Win 11 Pro OEM cost today $146.00, and Win 11 OEM cost $119.00 for the do it yourself builders..
This NUC still works, but it can't handle AV1 (AOMedia Video 1). encoded video. Buffers when playing.
Raspberry Pi is the way to go if a person does not need Windows, which some of my programs "demand" and a current version of Windows.
