Southeast Washington | I feel the same way and not blinded that Deere has all the answers through percussion subscriptions. In the last 4 years we have placed in the top of the country for the dryland winter wheat yield contest. Once we won, last year we got third, and this year we got second. That was with no John Deere technology. We probably have a much more broad system in place and so far the John Deere marketing system with subscriptions hasn't done better than we have with basic third party systems that don't cost an arm and a leg. We run with tried and true proven systems and not with what a polished marketing system tells us they can accomplish. They are still behind. Remember there are other equipment manufacturers out there besides John Deere. Everyone needs to keep an open mind. | |
