Still 4440s or other colors available.
You really don't even NEED a cab or AC.
AC can be technical if it doesn't work.
Pretty much a plan out there for every financial portfolio but not huge profits in any of them of course.
Good luck finding a 4440 that isnt wore completely out. Find one that will give you 2000 hrs of trouble free service.
Now tell 15% of the market to jump on those same 5 tractors currently for sale.
As a specialty crop grower myself i cant afford a new 150-175hp tractor, but yet i still need to put a ton of hours on a tractor. We still run them every day. Luckly i have a couple of boxcar magnums and am currently good now. But they are all over 10,000 hours now...
Now take specialty equipment, like me I am in the pecan business. I need to replace my two 50 year old shakers. A new one is 220k, no way i could afford that. A used one that 15 years old is 50k but actually just as wore out and used up as my current 50 year old machines. This is really more a result of TERP in California where all the equipment came from used. But they scraped them all during TERP.
I was just talking to my dad how he thought he ran old equipment in the late 80s and early 90s. But he was rubbing 40 series deeres. When compared to me running 90s model magnums today.
We are running older and older junk, becuase of prices of the crop and equipment. |
