Regarding the JD tech fee:
1. If it doesn't benefit you don't buy it.
2 If you can't afford it don't buy it
3. Obviously most that have it, think it makes them money or they wouldn't buy it.
4. Just round numbers, if it costs you $15 and you only benefit $5, then it's cost you $10
5. So it's 1 of your smallest expenses, like.diesel
6. Farming has changed a lot. Most have become more efficient, raise better crops, plant it quicker, harvest it quicker; these things usually make you money. And technology is part of the equation.
And, No, it's not free.
