99-07 super duty will go down in history as one of the highest build quality vehicles ever made.
The 2 valve triton is much better than the 3 valve that replaced it
The worst thing about an early super duty is the "stepping in warm dog poo" level of satisfaction with how the 4r100 automatic transmission handles itself, so with a ZF manual transmission you just eliminated another big negative.
If you want to save this truck from road salt and use it as a farm truck and want a smaller daily, I'd say 4 cylinder 5 speed S10 or a 3800 Buick. | |
