Manitoba | We sold to a company called Northern Quinoa who sold us the varieties they wanted us to grow and then bought our production back, cleaned it and sold it to Costco.
It’s not a crop u wanna grow unless u have very clean land. Not a lot of chemical options. More so an organic type crop. One year we had Bertha Armyworms move in a few weeks before harvest and the only product we could use to control them due to harvest interval was Coragen. Ended up sitting on that production for 14 months before we could move it. Would definitely keep acres low to start with. | |
