Yes, I've taken info other people have posted into account. I don't believe anyone has said it's a good idea on here. I may not get it for a few reasons. If the top speed is truly 55mph or less, I won't be able to take a run before going up hills, so that'd be an issue. If it's a single brake master cylinder vs dual, one brake leak, and you're screwed. I'm just gathering info, and asking questions as to why people have the opinion they do. Talked to my 89 year old Grandpa just now, he thought it would be a good idea, talking about how they used to haul 400 bushels of corn in a straight truck with a 292. I think a 59 well maintained would be just as reliable as something newer, as long as you replace everything that is needed. I've had spark plugs blow out of my engine hauling hogs (the 5.4 does that). I'd love to get a '79 Ford F-250, but they go for alot more. Heck, my wife bought a new CFMOTO 600 UTV a couple of years ago, and in less than 100 miles, the wiring harness had an issue that would stop the engine, that took the dealer multiple times talking with the manufacturer to fix, and a leaking strut. :D My 1966 John Deere 4020 hardly ever breaks down.
