Even that is becoming less true recently. More and more, we have to pay mother Deere by the acre, every acre, just to be able to use some of the equipment that we OWN.
Pay a subscription every year to use the guidance equipment we OWN, even though we have our own correction signal.
And the one I am really having a hard time with, is paying for each and every acre we DON'T spray, to use See-and-Spray technology.
Wow that is why I like third party gps. Our AFS Connect Quad has the 1200 that Case seems to be proud of yet for what I want it is at least 20 years behind the times for multi-swath guidance and they seem to have no hurry to update even if their farmers demand it. |
