| I like using a high number on Mac d. It inverts the signal. So as price goes up a lot the Mac d goes down. But I find it reduces noise and false signals. This one still seems to be in a fairly strong “up” pattern, although it’s already up a lot, it still hasn’t crossed the middle line.
And then the implied volatility. Here it is on the 1d chart for trading view. It’s pretty easy to see how this pattern has indeed driven iv down. Although it’s low currently (20) it’s so close to being 1 that why wouldn’t they just go ahead and take it there. Spend all that time hedging and swapping to create this pattern just to not take it the finish line would be pretty lame and a wasted effort imo.
