Maybe a full rewire? Working on a 4020 right now, surprisingly a 60 year tractor has a bit of a rats nest for a wiring system and that plug at the firewall is pretty much a given that it needs to be replaced. So may as well rewire it. Did my other 4020 a few years back. Haven't ordered up a starter yet, but have gm 3 wire alternator here for rebuild, it needs a pulley to run a wider belt and the 3 wire design will allow one wire to be taken to the dash charge indication light.

This one is being setup from the design stage to run the electric auger mover and bin full warning alarm. A rough sketch so I can make my parts order list up. About $300 of parts, most of wire I have already.
