haskell county, ks | I grew up with old stuff. Spent my childhood on an unstyled G john deere and remember Mom working 11to 7 at the hospital for meger wages driving a ‘59 ford 4 door car that the defroster almost kept the frost off the windshield enough to see. World war 2 nurses were in abundant supply so wages were thin. Remember Mom begging Dad to let her quit, said she’d do anything on the farm and Dad new she would but he said we’ve got to have the money. My want to run or have old stuff is low. | |
