Exactly... I know everyone knows of someone or is that someone.. but a friend of mine a few years back was holding out for a certain corn price.. and when it finally got there, he let the greed take over and said there's no way it won't go another 10 cents.. I think it made it up another 5 before going down limit two days straight and he finally caved in out of fear of losing more. Lost what, 55 cents/bu (or 50 cents I guess from his initial position) by holding out for an extra dime that he was more than happy doing without a few days before.. very few of us haven't done something similar but it's a bad trap to fall into the "coulda woulda shoulda" or the "what if I had" crowd for sure. |
