Faunsdale, AL | I agree, heat the area around the threads of the bolt as hot as you dare. There has to be a way to shield stuff and get a torch in there somehow. Do this quickly and try turning the bolt while the casting? is still as hot as possible. May want to let it cool completely and repeat once or twice.
If that doesn’t do it, cut head off bolt and remove parts. Then you may be able to use the crayon or penetrating oil trick after heating again.
Do you have a welding tip for your torch? Can make a difference getting the flame where it needs to go.
