What make/model of tire do you have on the loader? I think the type of tread pattern will affect how they work and ride. Do you know what you have for traction aids front and rear? Manual diff lock front and open rear is pretty common, limited slip rear would be the upgrade and automatic locks front and rear is the best available. Not sure what JCB offers.

That being said, I've never liked the ladder style in tough deep snow conditions, especially the less expensive wide spaced versions on the left. Each tire right/left will want to spin then catch repeatedly, when you're trying to get anything done the tractor/loader wants to rock side and side jumping each time the chain catches. If you do ladder style, make sure they're narrow spaced and will have probably 2x as many cross bars.

I think for longer roading and deep snow I'd want the H-style on a loader. Wouldn't worry about studded unless you're running on a lot of hard pack/ice to and from.
