Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Not really an answer to your question but my nephew has an older 8310 (not an "R") that they use on a large Nuhn hog manure rig. They switched the standard drawbar/mounting assembly to the heavy-duty model that Deere offers. The various components including a new drawbar are much heavier. It was fairly expensive. It has worked out well for them. It may or may not have been necessary.
There are other "helper" type assemblies from short line companies that give added support but use the original drawbar. These would be cheaper and might be adequate. One style uses a couple of heavy chains and a bracket that goes around the original drawbar to provide extra support.
