Subject: RE: Driving with the Jake Brake ON

SW Ohio
Studies show a Jake brake makes significantly less noise than a peterbilt crashing through your house

If you don't want to hear a Jake brake, don't live on a state route or highway. I know it sounds harsh, but most of us have a choice where to live

Jake brake noise is no different than most motorcycles. Couldn't tell you the last time I saw a harley with mufflers on it. There are a couple crotch rockets that come past my house that make significantly more noise in the house than any Jake brake I've ever heard come past

If you think Jake brakes are bad, try living next to a working railroad! But instead of complaining about noise to the railroad, I moved away
